Our culture offers little context for constructing a meaningful life, and little in the way of positive role modeling or even hope for the future.

No wonder kids turn to gangs, drugs, violence, promiscuity, or even suicide to combat their despair. They have no idea how to create happiness for themselves.

The Pierre Claeyssens Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in honor of one of Emmaus’ premier benefactors, Pierre Claeyssens. Contributions to the fund support Emmaus’ work by underwriting the cost of participating in Emmaus’ programs for one or more participants. By pooling many small gifts into a complete scholarship package, Emmaus can make a profound difference in the life of a troubled young person.
