should I participate in Emmaus of Santa Barbara’s
TEAM LEADERSHIP Program?
Hundreds of our past participants have stated that this program
was a “defining” moment in their lives.
It gave them the tools and skills they needed to become effective
leaders and increased the quality of their lives. You too will be
given the resources that will create quantum leaps in your personal
growth.
By attending
the TEAM LEADERSHIP program you will experience:
- A deeper understanding of what life is all about
- A clearer sense of purpose and determination
- Greater peace of mind
- An enhanced ability to perceive meaning in life’s experiences
- An appreciation of the value of your personal contribution to
the world
- Deeper, more meaningful and lasting friendships
What
is the best way to describe the program?
Three descriptors: Life-changing. Unique. Experiential.

a profoundly new perspective.

Our past participants
refer to this program as a unique experience
because it integrates the physical, social, emotional, cognitive
and psychological dimensions of the individual in a safe & trusting
environment.
The program
is experiential in nature and as such
relies on individual and small group processing of program components.
The program expects participants to fully engage in the activities
in order to grasp the powerful lessons therein.
How
long is the experience?
The experience lasts one complete academic year but the impact lasts
a lifetime.
Must
I attend the retreat weekend?
Yes! The retreat weekend is the formal “gateway”
to the Emmaus Experience. It is here that you are introduced to
other individuals of “like” interest and life goals.
You will be surrounded by individuals like yourself who are committed
to helping others put their lives in order.
Where
do I stay during the retreat weekend?
You will stay in cabins at the camp.
