Thank you for visiting our Volunteer Info
page. If you are here, you must be considering giving of your
time to Emmaus and we look forward to the possibility of working
with you to transform the lives of our local youth. All of us
at Emmaus have experienced the powerful, life-changing joy of
giving and have discovered that in working with these extraordinary
young people, our hearts and spirits have been lifted. We invite
you to become a volunteer and share this experience we call "The
Emmaus Experience".
Emmaus
of Santa Barbara is a non-profit educational organization and,
as such, we rely heavily on the generosity of our volunteers in
order to fulfill our educational mission. We are always looking
for volunteers who can give of their time, skills, and/or professional
services.
"I shall pass through this world but once. If therefore there
be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do, let me
do it now; let me not defer it or neglect it."

*If your particular
area of expertise does not appear above, please contact us via
email as the needs of our organization are constantly changing
and evolving. It is our intent to find a place in our organization
for all persons who feel drawn to be of service.
"Service is
an attitude founded on the recognition that the world has supported
you, fed you, taught you, tested you, whether or not you earned
it. Understanding this simple truth can move you to do what you
can to repay a boundless debt of gratitude. Service is both a
means and an end, for in giving to others, you open yourself to
love, abundance, and inner peace. You cannot serve others without
uplifting yourself." Dan Millman
